Why does the gun feel like a switch?

Observation hypothesis
A firearm can compress an irreversible biological process into an instantaneous cultural image: ALIVE → BANG → DEAD. The click becomes a switch, even when the aftermath is anything but discrete.
銃は、不可逆な生物学的過程を瞬間的な文化的イメージへ圧縮しうる。ALIVE → BANG → DEAD。クリックはスイッチになる。たとえその後が離散的ではまったくないとしても。
This observatory does not equate America with guns, nor guns with a dry culture. Firearm imagery appears in many places. What is observed here is a symbolic structure of boundary enforcement.
trigger → click → bang → switch → instant state change. The image is culturally powerful because it makes a gradient — dying — look like a binary.
The more interesting question may be: what happens culturally after the click? Law, media, mourning, politics, and memory often refuse to stay on the OFF side of the switch.
A switch can end a body without ending a story.
この観測は America = guns とも、guns = dry culture とも等置しない。銃のイメージは多くの場所に現れる。ここで見るのは、境界の執行という象徴構造である。
trigger → click → bang → switch → instant state change。勾配であるはずの「死にゆくこと」が、二項対立のように見える点が、文化的に強い。
より重要な問いは、クリックのあと文化は何をするのか、かもしれない。法、メディア、喪、政治、記憶は、しばしばスイッチのOFF側に留まらない。
スイッチは身体を終わらせても、物語を終わらせるとは限らない。
